About Us

Home Birth Supplies works closely with Midwives, Doula’s and antenatal instructors to bring together a range of products that are practical and in-expensive. We have a trained Doula who works in our offices to help you talk through your options and help you look at all your options for birthing at home, in a birth centre or indeed a hospital

 We support a number of home birth groups locally and are always happy to do what we can to advertise and support anything connected to home birth. If you would like us to mention your group please send us details via the contact us page, or call us on 01522 811100.

Meet the Team

Pamela - Trained Doula - Customer services

Calling our help desk you usually get through to Pamela, she is our resident Doula and can answer most things straight away. Believe me she has been asked most things too! She has attended a number of births both at home and in hospital so has seen and heard a lot. I am sure you will find her very helpful - we certainly do.

Lisa - Customer Services - Hire dept.

Lisa works for our customer services - specialising in our hire department and product testing. Lisa works really hard to ensure you get the hire pools in good order and with over 20 pools that is a task and a half. A mum to 4 children she understands the importance of being organised. A qualified therapist she is responsible for our essential oil range 

Sue - Independent Midwife 

Sue is our resident Independent midwife - she does a lot of our blogging and articles on our Facebook page and will happily answer any of your questions. Product development is also an area that Sue helps us in as working for the NHS for a number of years before going independent means she has seen things from both angles. She also teaches midwives on the local courses.

Erin - Branding

Erin does a lot of our in house branding – packing fliers & instructions into all our own brand products. A very important time consuming area of the business.

Darren - Warehouse manager

Darren manages our dispatch - ensuring all goods leave in a timely manner, we have a very good reputation for quick dispatch and Darren works hard with his team to ensure we keep this reputation. Any problems with couriers or parcels then Darren is your man

Zane - Warehouse

Zane works alongside Darren in despatch, working very hard to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly. We work him hard but have never heard him complain.

Mark - Dispatch

Mark is our resident van man, delivering anything we ask to wholesale customers, collecting from suppliers and generally moving things round the country for us.

Sam – Web design - Procurement

Sam manages our online presence, including our web site, Facebook & EBay stores and Google as well as new product procurement. We keep her busy, yet she always amazes us how much she achieves in a day.

That’s the team so far, not a huge team but we are well oiled and work well together, like one big happy family all with a skill that compliments the whole team.
